Had a great dining experience here at the 6 person chefs table. With about 9 courses in total each course tasted delicious and unique in their own way. In particular the butter poached scallops and the hen of the woods mushrooms we loved. The latter you could smell and taste to coal it was cooked on. Can’t forget the dessert which was oyster ice cream with caviar (among other flavors) So different but so delicious. It was a cool fall day in New Hampshire the night we went, and the food really complimented that feeling. Drink wise we went the a la carte method, with a mix of wine and cocktails. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and she helped us pair our meals. The group next to us got the wine pairing which also seemed like a nice experience. They also have a cocktail pairing which we might try next time. Overall the chefs table experience is a fun one because we love to see how our food is prepared and crafted. The chefs worked so well together, and carefully explained each course to us. They were happy to answer questions if we had them. This is a fine dining experience, but also casual at the same time. You never feel awkward or like you’ll get yelled at if you use the wrong fork. The staff is easy going, and meanwhile you are tasting some of the best food available in New England. Sometimes the portions might look small, but they add up. We left very full, but wanting more! Note: we missed a few of the courses pictured, we were too excited to eat them.

The Chef and his team have created something wonderful. The ambience as soon as you walk in is comforting and swanky at the same time. The food is meant to be small dishes and they are full of flavor. We did the wine pairing with the food and the sommelier knocked it out of the park. Let me get back to this food, and then tell you everything was cooked perfection it was. I can tell the Chef and his team had fun created the layers of flavors to their dishes. Now their menu changes with the season so not everyone is going to get the same stuff. I would happily come back here to try Chef's creation. Bravo Zulu, I haven't had this much happiness when eating in a very long time.

Stages is nothing short of phenomenal. Going into this dinner, I had high expectations due to the great reviews and my experience working 6 years in luxury hospitality. Stages was the best tasting style meal I have had in years. The entire experience was excellent, from cocktails and starters in the Living Room, to the service and wine pairings, and every single dish in the tasting. The flavors and methods used in the dishes require preparation methods that are not only time consuming and difficult, but are equally creative and intriguing. The results are dishes that are as beautiful in appearance as they are wonderful to eat. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. When you visit, do yourself the favor of paying attention to every detail of the space, as the interior has been meticulously laid out and appointed to match the intrigue and luxurious quality of the food and drinks served within.

What a cool dining experience. If you are a foodie and are an adventurous eater this is the place for you. There are many small courses to try and all are excellent. Everything is made and plated in front of you as you sit at the kitchen. There is no choice of meals as you eat what the chef makes. I will definitely go again.

One of the best fine-dining restaurants in New Hampshire. The food is comforting yet creative! Caviar and coffee ice cream with candied celery leaves? - it was amazing and so fun! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend the chef's table and if I lived closer I would have cocktails and play games in the Living Room weekly!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! Calling it a restaurant actually feels like its doing it a disservice: it is a full-fledged experience. The owner/executive chef wasn't there last night when we went, and I can't imagine it could get any better than it did with the sous chef and sommelier. Each small plate was better than the last, and there was such an ease and calmness of the chef as she prepared each course that was beautiful to watch. Each course was inventive and flavorful in a way that played games with your palate long after the last bite. We chose cocktail pairings and each one was perfect, all evoking childhood (lemonade stand, beach days, climbing in trees). The presentation was masterful but not overly fussy. We felt completely at home there and made some friends along the way. We retreated to the Living Room after dinner with a friend and can see ourselves coming there often. We love that all the drinks start as zero proof and you can add liquor—our friend who doesn't drink felt so included and loved each drink she tried. Chef said the menu tends to change seasonally, so I think that means we'll be making reservations each quarter to see what they come up with next! This is the perfect spot for a special occasion, and we can't wait to be back.

Food has been a hobby my wife and I have always shared. We came here on our 1 year anniversary looking for a very special food experience with the tasting menu. Beyond that, we had no idea what to expect. We were surprised with the homey, comforting, calm, and casual feel the restaurant and staff showed. It was obvious that making anybody feel welcome is part of the philosophy here. The food and drink was absolutely stunning. Each dish, wine pairing, and cocktail really demanded our attention with flavors and combinations we've never tried. We enjoyed how lovingly the chef focused on vegetables and mushrooms, making them the stars of the meal. The last three courses in particular wowed us, tying together sweet and savory components in shocking ways. My personal favorite was the mushroom madeleines with aerated brie and honey. It was one of the most incredible foods I've ever eaten and I've been craving since the moment I finished it! We can't wait to return and have a few of our favorite dishes again in The Living Room.
